www.cancer.org Look Good Feel Better is run through the American Cancer Society.Find a group near you by logging onto this site or call ACS in you area. This program teaches and help woman with cancer learn about some of the change in hair and skin and provides free of charge . Make-up and help with skin care and wigs are provided.

There is also Look Good Feel Better for Teens !!  Check with your local ACS on the web or call 1-800-ACS-2345.

This is a group that gives children with a life threatening illness a "special" day of pampering. For girls it is Queen For A Day. For boys it is Heros. Check out this site  for more information in your area. We are pleased to have volunteered and donated to our local chapter of QFAD through Childrens National Medical Center.

This is a wonderful foundation that helps Carroll County, Md resident with breast cancer with expenses that may arise during treatment and recovery. Ask about the Stacy Davis Foundation. This foundation does wonderful work with woman in Carroll County fighting Breast Cancer.
 
Maryland has a program that helps people with Beast and Cervical Cancer. This fund is for un-insured and under-insured. The cover items such as wigs, medicine and other items not always covered by commercial insurance. You must be a Maryland resident to take advantage of this fund. Go to www.Maryland.gov and go to search area for more information. Crowning Alternatives is a preferred provider and will submit claims to this plan.

www.kimmiecares.com    These are dolls for children to better understand what is going on with cancer treatment. They come with a story and wigs and a scarf to ease children's minds about the changes happening during chemotherapy.
